Pick A Player
If we had to pick a local recruit likely to commit to USC, we would probably choose Rancho Verde offensive lineman Tyron Smith. He's been offered by just about everyone, including Nebraska and Notre Dame, but it will be a big upset if he doesn't select USC.

The Bruins say that he is still working hard in the classroom and may be able to qualify for admission there after this semster is over. He reportedly wanted to commit there a couple of months ago, but they told him his grades had to improve.
