Ahhh Jon went to my old High School, Manual Arts HS.

It looks like its actually the pregame workout. If you notice he doesnt have his shoulder pads on yet. The crowd doesn't seem to have all filed in the backgroud as yet either. You can almost tell that it is was a pretty good size crowd also. If you take a look it the far upper right corner endzone near tunnel 28. Normally to have fans in that section meant a good size crowd.

I actually remember going to Rams games back in 1960. They had a special 5 kids free with a paying adult in section 28. As a kid we would wait outside of gate 28 and ask an adult if he could take us in with him. I saw many a Ram game back at that time that way.

You can also noticed the older style goal post that sat on the goal line at that time. Scott made note of this style goal post in an earlier photo.

great photo. Any chance of obtaining it? Still waiting for pic of Willie Brown 62 catch to defeat UCLA and win NC title.
