I was curious as to who recruiting the Los Angeles area in relationship to this current arriving class? I dont think we brought in a single player from Los Angeles Inner City proper. Actually I believe Smith from Taft High was one of the only L.A. City High School players period in our the current class coming in.
In one of my past post related to your continuing to mention the fact the USC and UCLA were going head to head on scouting L.A. Inner City kids. I thought you were harping on that topic too much. However maybe you have a valid point.
The fact is we have either not thought there was talent of the level in the inner city that was good enough or we have just dropped the ball on taking a serious enough look at these kids. Maybe its the former.
