Blind Item Of The Day

A highly touted recruit that attended the just-concluded USC football camp actually performed much poorer than expected and showed a questionable work ethic. Overall, he didn't quite match the hype.

Wow Scott...I mean, I appreciate the info but that's like the definition of "ambiguous"

:o))

"Some guy didn't do as well as some people thought he would"

hmmm....:o))

My guess is Wes Horton.

I heard he looked a bit soft, and sluggish.

It was DJ hands of stone Shoemate. By the way Joe Adams gave a verbal to USC last night.

look up what "blind item" means...

Who was it Scott?

And did Joe Adams really commit?

SW,
You know we're going to ask you in the open forum so you might as well tell us who it was :)
I watched Horton and I wasn't really impressed, he seemed a bit slow. Sully Koehler kicked butt. Did anyone else notice him?

Fight On!

DJ didn't work out yesterday because he was stricken with the flu.

I change my guess to Daniel Campbell. I heard he took a monster hit from Armond Armstead, and never really got his energy level up to par with the other elite prospects.

why bother if you aren't going to say who it is?

Take it from me guys--I've never been wrong yet--It was Horton--he was overweight, out-of-shape, etc.--but remains a tremendous raw talent. He'll get his horns straightened out real soon-or he'll be eating dirt.

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
