Dance Fever

We're more confident that one player will earn the necessary grades this summer to remain eligible after hearing he is enrolled in a jazz dance class.

This will only be made into a big deal because he is a football player.

I had friends that took ballroom and other dramatic arts classes as electives while at USC to keep their grades up in tough semesters and no one made anything of it. Heck I took that movie class (466) more than once to balance out my engineering classes.

I am sure more average students than athletes take these classes but no one wants to hear that. Football players take easy electives and they're suddenly "cheaters" or receiving "special treatment". Matt takes ballroom and it's practically a national incident.

Look at the dancing football player. What are we six years old all of a sudden?!

13-9,
prepare for a blood bath in south central Dec. 1st. You will be longing for the good old days of 13-9 after Dec. 1st.

Somebody take the bottle away from Miguelito...he has been drinking again.

I think Miguelito starts writing all these things when he turns his vibrator on and gets all excited ...

I can't wait for December 2. We will never hear from Miguelito again....

I'm guilty of taking Cinema 466 to keep my scholarship.

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
