I assume they take the top 2 or 3 qualifiers in each heat to move to the next round?
I'm excited about this Freshman kid Ahmad Rashad for USC. He won the PAC 10 100 and 200 Meters.
It would be exciting if he could sweep the 100 and 200 in the NCAA Finals.
Holland cost us dearly. Never should have been involved as been hurt too much this spring. We don't qualify at all. Rashad only entered in the 200M because of too many heats.
Sometimes I believe we are not getting good management in the track meets. I partly agree with Steve. Although Holland wanted to participate badly in this big meet. He has to consider the over all team. Im just saying if he knew he wasnt quite healthy.
I believe we have the talent but we are not managing it as the coach from say Arkansas has in the past or even in UCLA meets were we seem to get the least out of the most in relationship to how UCLA manages their hand.
I believe for us to get no points in the relay and not Im hearing that Rashad is only running the 200. We may have to just mail it in before the meet has even started.
