I bet they had the UCLA Bruin defense on their minds...and probably thought...

"It's best we stay injured so we don't get our butts kicked by the Mighty Bruins. If we're hurt, we can't be blamed for the loss!"

13-9

100 NCAA Titles, I see that UC(suck-a-lot, got ripped by Cal-State Fullerton and look who's going to Omaha)LA education is paying off for you. First, Williams was not even eligible to play this season (due to his transfer). As for Coleman, he was must likely going to Red Shirt anyway. Nice try though, your intelligence is shining through, just like the Hollywood sign on a smoggy day in LA.

According to 100 women NCAA titles, a few of our players intentionally got hurt, underwent surgery and face a long rehab, in order to avoid playing 60 minutes of football in December. Riiiiiiiiight.

You're dreaming. The alarm clock will go off on December 1, then your nightmare will begin!

Fight On!

Why does the term "Mighty Bruins" look so ridiculous everytime I see it? Oh that's right - because it is...

How many of those 100 championships did UCLA win for Self Congratulation?

Hi Scott,

The lead into this story is kind of misleading.

"Lots of seasons ending injuries..."

Holland says he will only be out of commission for a month. Fall camp doesnt start till what Aug 1st or so?

Williams is Red Shirting and wouldn't be playing any games anyway.

That leading in saying "lots" really made me click on the link expecting at least 4 or 5 elgible players who would not be playing next season.

Careful, TrojanEncore, we don't want to give the injury gods any ideas. This is enough....then there is fall practice and the hard hitting and extreme competition for playing time.....Hmmm!
