State Of Admissions

| | Comments (35) |

A year ago, I said the incoming recruiting class had several question marks academically regarding the NCAA Clearinghouse and one recruit did not get accepted. It's still relatively early but I'm prepared to say this class is in much better shape and some players that were question marks in the spring appear as though they will make it academically.
That doesn't mean everything is settled, but it's an illustration that things are better than a year ago.

Thank god for that and thanx for the update Scott.

Our class was definately #1...Florida beat us out on sheer numbers but we have quality over quantity.

Green, Galippo, Harris, Griffin, McKnight and the others are going to be kicking little green Notre Dame butt for years to come...and everyone else.

I actually might go out on a limb and say this is one of the best recruiting classes ever.

Let's get 'em in here and start the NC rolling in...

I'm glad to hear that Scott. I hope it's a matter of the athletic department really staying on top of the kids academically more so than in the past.

"Cannot" is one word. It is not written "can NOT."

Even when you try to correct the spelling of others, you display your own lack of English skills.

Stupid, uneducated, illiterate street thug.

miguelito, can you spell "broom and mop". McDonald's wants you to report back to work since your floor expertise is needed.

Cinema it is one word when you use the contraction. TRY again Mr. Sec. Of Education.

Use it for your rectum as a release aid and preach your redneck Hitler blue eyes BS with somebody else. Show some class.

As usual, Doorknob (ne captain of a gay cruise) is wrong. No surprise. It is one word - cannot.

But it's great that she keeps coming on a USC blog to kiss up to all things and people USC when she never had anything to do with USC, while being treated like the worthless piece of drug dealing gangbanger she is.

Read under conditional. It definitely backs my English grammar argument.
According to the Webster's dictionary illiterate means ignorant, uneducated and unable to read and write. I am responding to that claimless charge. That speaks for itself and therefore clearly contradicts him.
I am so illiterate that I am fully bilingual. It means that I can read, write and speak both English and Spanish fluently. I am such a street thug that I have served as an interpreter in several hospitals including the ER and the delivery room. Those incidents are well documented.
Thank you

To the Trojans on the board:

Just ignore that race baiting illegal alien. He's only here because he has no friends. He changed his blog name after being humiliated over and over again, while also proving that he spelled a word wrong. Nothing new.

Notice how he never says where he actually went to college (if he even went at all)...?

I'm not going to join the race baiting nonsense (I didn't realize that an American citizenship/college education was a prerequisite for mastery of the English language) but I am going to state that neither of you were incorrect in the above argument.

can·not [kan-ot, ka-not, kuh-]
–verb

1. a form of ·can not.
—Idiom

2.cannot but, have no alternative but to: We cannot but choose otherwise.
[Origin: 1350–1400; ME]

—Usage note: Cannot is sometimes also spelled can not. The one-word spelling is by far the more common: "Interest rates simply cannot continue at their present level." The contraction can't is most common in speech and informal writing.

So cannot is more common doesn't mean it's any more right or wrong. Look slke both of you could use an English lesson.

I'll leave it. Too embarrassed to tell anyone where he went to college (if he even went at all)...

Door Prize,

Why can't we only focus on the content of what is being said related to USC football and not treat this board as an English 101 class.

It is really getting out of hand for you to continue to make light of others spelling and grammar in this forum.

Also lets drop all the racial put downs. Not just you but also those that respond to you. All of this is uncalled for. Lets keep this board civil.

I wish Scott or his moderators would crack down on some of this stuff. I come to this board to get info on USC football. Not to read a lot of the endless dribble.

I wish Scott would also stop posting any immaterial Mitch Mustain vs Mark Sanchez post. Sometimes I feel like I'm reading endless smackdown leading up to a heavyweight title bout between Mustain and Sanchez that will go down in 2008.

Wow Door Prize,

I was just trying to show that you were both correct in your arguments - not trying to pick a fight.

Thank you for correcting my sentence structure. I was in a hurry when posting the definition and didn't get to correct myself.

What I meant to say was: "Cannot is more common, doesn't mean it's any more right or wrong than can not."

I thought my posting of "Look slke" in the following sentence would show that I was hurried but I guess it didn't.

You are correct and I was wrong, thank you.
I am man enough to accept I am wrong. Am I calling anybody names like USCinema?
I am NOT apologizing for the English 101. If you are/were a college student write like one.
Finally like I said before I don't have anything against MM. By the same token lay off Mark Sanchez. IF MM wins out next year I am man enough to accept that and congratulations to MM. BTW there a few bloggers here that are rear end kissers. I don't have any respect NOR use for them.
Thank you

What the hell does that mean? "...there a few bloggers"?

Attack others for their English, yet you cannot write even the most basic English? Your grammar is non-existent, your spelling is a joke and your attacks are...well, laughable.

Hypocrisy from a worthless drug dealing gangbanger.

Again you are correct. I missed writing there are a few meaning I left out the verb, OK? Again instead of being civilized you go again with name calling which is racial. If I retaliate with another racial I am the racist. Isn't that a double standard? This is your last chance for a civilized truce. If you want an ALL out fight we will have it.

28th Street said:

You reply by posting the exact same poor grammar as last time:

"there a few bloggers here that are rear end kissers."

"...there a few bloggers"?

Unbelievable. You still don't realize what you wrote was wrong and made no sense. No surprise, since you can't even speak English.

You attack others for their English, yet you cannot write even the most basic English?

Forget English 101, you need to take English as Second Language at the local welfare office where you family visit every day, and milk the hard working American taxpayer of his money to feed your drug habit and 25 illegitimate children.

What a joke from a worthless drug dealing gangbanger.

I concur with every one of the other readers of this blog - just when are you going to ban this race baiting fool Door Prize?

He brings nothing to this blog other than his race baiting filth. He has nothing whatsoever to do with USC. He attacks the most minute spelling errors of others, yet his own English is so flawed with spelling and grammatical errors, it makes me shake my head. He ruins every thread that he feels the need to comment on with his race baiting attacks.

For goodness sake, Scott, ban Door Prize already! Every single one of your readers want you to do it, so what's the delay? He doesn't bring one darn thing to this board, so ban him and his race baiting filth already.

What are you waiting for?

Instead you and the rest of the usual suspects keep feeding the racial fire. I simply fight back. We can be intelligent adults willing to agree and disagree. Your call.
