In our Saturday item ``Memo To Pete Carroll,'' we predicted that we knew Carroll well enough to predict he would have figured out a way to avoid getting busted like Raiders coach Lane Kiffin for holding practices that were too physical. Remember, Kiffin got turned into to the players' union by his own players, forcing him to cancel the last week of practices.
