USC-Florida Off

Plans for a basketball game between USC and Florida next season were scrapped because a suitable date could not be found by Fox Sports, which wanted to televise the game, according to USC officials. Another road block occurred when Gators coach Billy Donovan quit and returned, which delayed discussions further.

It looks like USC landed the top Juco point guard in the country Donte Smith from mt sac.

Sounds to me like a severe case of the scared-zies. Waaaa - our coach quit on us and then came back because he realized he's not good enough to coach in the bigs. We're not ready to play the mighty Trojans. Please don't force us to.

Of course I'm kidding - but it's good to pick on those on top once in a while. USC's 07 schedule is tough enough as it is already. Leaving the back to back champs off of it isn't a bad thing.

I disagree. You want to play the best teams to become the best team. At least USC tried.
