I love Taylor Mays..he's a great kid, and a great Trojan and will one day beat the crap out of "The Fighting Irish" just as well as Dwayne Jarrett did.
But..245lbs and he is faster?? I thought he was already running 4.30 how can he be faster? A 250lb safety is HUGE..that's bigger than most LB's...
OK Scott give it up what's this REALLY about?

It was reported earlier this year that he was running a 4.28!
Wolf says "looks like" so don't take that as an exact number.
And if it was someone timing the 40 in practice, the numbers are usually favorable.

So he is faster than Jamere Holland, Joe Mcknight, and Desean Jackon. USC needs to get him on the offensive side the ball. Thats what was talked about with him coming out of high school. Use him at fullback and Everson Griffen at runningback near the goalline. Unstopable.

He may look 245, but i can't imagine he is more than 235.
Not that 235 is exactly light, but with Mays size, ability and speed, he could be a beginning of a whole new breed of Safety.
OK 1 minute...

OK this is difficult for me to say but..
thank you doorprize that is correct
he was posted on this site as running a 4.28..
so..he is running a 4.23?
shouldn't he be in the olympics then?
IF Rey and Cushing opt to the NFL Mays will be playing LB next year. PC will NOT have anyother choice. That is a big IF...
