I'm with urangajr2,
This was midly entertaining in the beginning now it's just sad. Can we move onto the next flavor of the week already. The guy can't even play this year.

Above is DISDAIN for MUSTAIN. Not for the kid himself, but for the amount of time given over to him--I agree--let's wait until next Spring for more!

These truly are the days of our lives. A blog is meant to be a continual source of information, so we are right with Mustain at all times of the day. But the real question is, why was Mustain riding his own bike? Can he not be lifted from his room to the practice field on the shoulders by the other players?

28th Street: Yes, you raise an issue I never thought of! What in the heck is wrong with those other players?
Even worse {gulp]...What if he was on his way home from dance class? What in the hell were his classmates thinking? Why, I mean,he could have even got scratched or something!
Can't something be done at once to remedy this situation? How will I sleep now? Shoot!!!!!

Glad to hear America's Quarterback, Mitch Mustain, averted an injury. He is the future of the USC football program. I'm sure the bike was probably sabotaged was Sanchez! Only way to derail the unstoppable bandwagon of America's Quarterback, Mitch Mustain.
Mustain in 2008!

I felt a great disturbance in The Force last night. Now I know what it was. The Dark Side has failed, yet again. Good always triumphs over evil.
Mitch:
May The Force be with you, always.

Mark Sanchez is on a different level than Mustain. MM will be holding a clipboard in 2008 and IF MS decides to return for his RS-SR season MM will be holding a clipboard in 2009. I also think MM is going to have a hard time beating out ACorp for the 2010 season.
Scott, there is a very good chance that your boy MM never starts a game at SC.
Fight ON!!

urangajr2 -
You are right, Mark Sanchez is on a different level than Mitch Mustain.
Sanchez is slow, inaccurate, overthrows balls, underthrows balls, constantly fumbles, is overweight, and broke a record for interceptions in the spring scrimmage. His off the field problems with the law, and other numerous discipline issues on campus, clearly show a lack of judgment, intelligence, and are embarrassing to the entire university.
Mustain is fast, very accurate, possesses great leadership skills, is in peak physical shape, and already has more experience at the highest levels of college football than Sanchez. Oh, and he's also a proven winner at the college level.
So you're right, Sanchez is on a different level than Mustain. He's on a much lower level than Mustain. Once Mustain becomes eligible to play in 2008, Sanchez will never see the field again for USC. He can either transfer to another school or drop to third string behind both Mustain and Corp (who is also much faster than Sanchez).

It is true, Aaron Corp is much faster than Sanchez. Corp is a quarterback who runs a lot with the ball and has speed that Sanchez simply does not have. They are totally different QBs. Mustain, at this stage, is clearly very polished and sophisticated. He is far from a project and could, and has, start at the Division I college stage. Corp needs to bulk up some and get some more strength, but he already has speed which will serve him well in the future. He is not quite ready to start at this stage and needs a bit more time to mature. Mustain is a ready-made QB who can come right in and lead the Trojans to a national championship. Sanchez, unfortunately, has not developed well and has failed to make the adjustment from high school to college. I cannot see how he would ever beat out someone with the pedigree of Mustain. I just do not see Sanchez ever beating Mustain out for the starting job in 2008. Mustain transferred to USC with the sole intention of starting in 2008, so he is not going to waste his time.

azbet,
you forgot that Mitch Mustain also has a mommy who will throw a fit to get her boy on the field. that's a real asset.
last i checked Sanchez didn't even have parents, right? raised by a pack of wolves or something.

This just proves the strength of Mitch Mustain. If he does that to a bicycle peddle, just imagine what he is going to do to South Bend, IN and Westwood! Fight On!... Oh yeah, this is only 2007... Fight On John David!

I hope it was a stationary bicycle. Who does this kid think he is? Kellen Winslow Jr? Jeff Kent? He needs to lock himself into a padded room until called upon.

Scott:
I am fully aware that stories about Mitch Mustain get the most number of hits on your blog and you have a sense of humor, but come on! A story about a bicycle pedal snapping off? This is an even bigger non-story than the one you posted about his jersey number.

This clearly demonstrates Mitch Mustain can overcome all obstacles in his path. Nothing can stop him. Is there anything Mitch Mustain cannot do?

I heard his ballet slippers were caught in the bike's spokes ...sorry, just trying to break up the I-heart-Mustain monotony.
I always hear that Sanchez is overweight, I saw a pic of him from workouts, he actually looked on the thin side.

I bet it was Sanchez who loosened the pedal....

Michael Vick is the fastest QB in the NFL. His completion % is 55%-the same as Mustain. MM QBR was around 70. MV was about the same if not lower...
MV is by far a better athlete than MM. Tune into the NFL network and you will hear the negative comments on MV as a QB. Notice that I did NOT say a word about the indictment. Again it was a QB issue NOT a criminal one, OK?
