Educated Guess
Since many of you have opinions on the subject, I asked a divorce lawyer who represents some clients that make as much as $15-20 million per year how much they pay in child support?
``Typically between $30-50,000 (per month),'' she said.
I'm not sure of Matt Leinart's exact income but an Arizona Cardinals source said his salary is nearly $7 million per year and he probably makes another $3-5 million in endorsements.

So 7 + 3 is 10 and 7+5 is 12
How does that become 15-20 million?
Not to mention that Matt & Brynn were never married, nor were they still together when the baby was born.
I'm assuming that $30-$50K is per year, right? Even if per month, cut it in half to reflect his current earnings and we're still a lot closer to the wage Matt is offering than what's being asked.
He may not be Carson Palmer, but he's nowhere close to Todd Marinovich. Give him a chance to grow up a little. He's all of 24.
I'm just having a tough time feeling sorry for Matt having to pay $360,000 a year to the mother of his child.
Leinart is an adult - I could care less about his 'side' - he fathered this child with a near equally deficient individual Brynn Cameron - the standards of morality today are abominable. A plague on both their houses but of the two Leinart is far far worse. He hangs with Hollywood 'players' and just inked a 'film' deal. This clown is his own worst enemy i.e. every linebacker and DT is going to go headhunting on Leinart and when he's getting sacked he'll hear 'Are ready you for your closeup with Mr. DeMille?'
Aside from Michale Vick does anyone know anyone else with this much high profile that is as big an embarrassment to an 'alma mater' as Leinart is turning out to be?
For crying out loud, he should provide a home for the child, and child support, life insurance, health insurance, and childcare so mom can finish school. To the extent that requires paying mom's living expenses so be it. Do we actually know whether he is providing any of these things? He wants to see his child, and wants to support him. How bad is all that?
