Listen. I think the SEC has some premier NFL level talent - but how do you get 4 teams in the top 10 every year when you only pay each other?
If USC never played ND, Auburn, Nebraska, Arkansas or Ohio St. do you think they could eventually fool the rest of the country into thinking they are the best conference in the country?
I can't stand the "we play the toughest teams in the country" every year argument. That might be true if every SEC team played every team in their conference every year but they don't. They play 4 gimme OOC games, 4 gimme in conference games against some truly horrible teams and 4 games against teams that are any good.
As the fake Snoop said in that great clip...: "Don't say we don't play anybody, Les. We played Arkansas last year on the road and hug 40 on them, Les. They won your division, Les. I can't wait till the rest of college football catches onto the SEC. If anyone has an easier path to an undefeated season it's the SEC. They travel less than any other conference and play more home games than any other conference.
I know my degree from USC is not in math, but I could swear that I count 48 total non-conference games yet only SEVEN on the road? And two of those are at Tulane?

Of the 48 OOC games only 24 are against BCS opponents. Auburn and South Carolina are the only schools to play against two BCS opponents, and that is out of four OOC games, while SC is playing two BCS opponents out of three possible. Next year, SC's entire schedule is against BCS opponents.
Correction above on a typo. It is 14 out of 48 SEC OOC opponents are in the BCS.
I'm reserving comment until after the UT@cal game. For once, I would like to see another team carry the pac-10 torch (and not fall down).
Those Troy Trojans must be gluttons for punishment; road games at Florida, Georgia and Arkansas. And I thought the soldiers in IRAQ were cannon fodder.
