Without a doubt, the Men of Troy are facing a very tough schedule, which is what the elite programs in college football should be doing (taken notice "The Ohio St, Michigan and the rest of the nation). As a Trojan backer stuck in the "Ville", I heard one of the most idiotic comments made on Friday by some “Rednecks in the Box” (local hillbilly sports radio). They were talking about UK Football (which in itself is a joke), and saying that the best coaches in college football reside in the SEC. EXCUSE ME, the best coach in college football (hands down, no question) is PC. He has restored the Land of Troy to the top of college football. While SEC coaches are hoping to get a bowl bid (or a shot at the SEC title game), PC has the Men of Troy thinking a BCS Championship game, year in and year out. As for the best coaches residing in the SEC, please, the best football coach in the State of Kentucky resides in Louisville, not Confederate Lexington, KY.

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
