Air Corp

Freshman Aaron Corp is taking more reps than Mitch Mustain right now because he is eligible and might be the No. 3 QB.
"He's struggling with the installation as anyone has that has been here," USC coach Pete Carroll said. "It actually gets harder. But we have to find out what he can do. It's not too big a job for him."

Aaron Corp is a solid quarterback, who brings a running game to the fold, which none of the other QBs have. He is very fast, but does not possess the overall skill that someone like Mitch Mustain has. Overall, Corp has more upside than Sanchez, but at this time, is not as polished as Mustain.

Give Corp about two or three years and he will be excellent. He needs to put on some muscle now and wasting a redshirt year by having him be the No. 3 QB, who will not play, will not do anyone any good. If he were No. 2 behind Booty, I would have no problem with that, but no need to waste his redshirt year so early if he is not going to get game reps.

Aaron will be just fine, my brothers, along with big Mike Reardon(today) and Blake Ayles(tomorrow),the Lancers of Orange Lutheran under the leadership and guidance of Coach Jim Kunau will not dissapoint...God Bless You All!!! nice to see the o.c. boys listening to coach carroll and understanding what it means to represent o.c. and socal...

Corp will make a great contribution at QB in time, but I don't think he should be put at No. 3 this season, merely weeks after finishing high school. He is not ready yet.

From all account, though, he is a solid boy and won't be a trouble maker, so I'm pleased he is a Trojan.

Isn't Michael McDonald still around to be our #3 guy? Why put a freshman who's got a redshirt year available ahead of a guy who's already thrown a TD pass in a game?

Aaron Corp has a bright future here at Troy. Don't try and give a guy that was not a leader on his team in Arkansas and got chased out of town by the players and fans the job quite yet.

Dave is the self appointed QB guru=shilt, Hah?

He can still redshirt and be listed as the #3 QB. Unless he plays it won't be wasted.

Keith15, stop drinking the Arkansas A.D. kool-aid. What happened in Little Rock last year was a mess, for sure, but I wouldn't blame it on an 18 year-old kid... and Mustain was hardly "chased out of town."

If Pete Carroll felt comfortable enough to extend offers to Mitch and to Damian Williams, I'll take his perspective over the Houston Nutt revisionist history/public relations staff, thanks.

That said, I think Aaron Corp is a great get for the Trojans and I look forward to the competition for the starting QB spot next year.
