Scott is gonna have a field day with the TMZ story:

http://www.tmz.com/2007/08/13/baby-mama-to-nfl-star-keep-paris-and-brit-away/

This is exactly what this comment board hero (aka BoscoH) thought it was... She wanted him to marry her, he didn't, she's pissed. Sad story, but it doesn't make #11 the worst person in the world.

She's getting 12,500 a month?

Damn. Looks to me like she just wants to be with Leinart because of the $$$

Matt actually seems like the good guy in this situation.

Gentlemen:
Please? I know this a FREE country. I also know that gossip and tabloid BS is for women, unless... are you?

And so it begins, Aaron Corp begins his rise to become a true freshman starter.

As predicted, Sanchez is gone and should Booty get injured, Aaron Corp becomes a starter THIS season!

This is funny.

Fight On, Corp!

Rape a girl and God breaks the thumb on your throwing hand. Good.

Howdy:
How do you do? I will NOT fall for another idiotic usual suspect. I am a good fisherman which means I do the baiting. The rape bool$h*t allegation is getting old. Give it a rest. Aren't you raping your own mind with your own poison?

This just provides more of an opportunity for Corp to play in the only game that Sanchez was going to have a chance of playing any decent minutes all year. We may never see Sanchez again on the field this year. Too bad. Don't get me wrong, I still think Mustain is far better than Sanchez, but he won't be able to play until next year, so this would have been Sanchez's only time to shine before USC alumni this year. He has lost that chance now and Corp can become an overnight sensation and endear himself to the alumni.

Since this game will be a blowout, we will be able to see all the quarterbacks showcase their skills rather than just sticking to a conservative game plan, and in Corp's case, that is a running game that the other QBs don't possess.

I am happy for Aaron to be given this opportunity and hope he takes full advantage of the situation that has landed in his lap.

Oh, this is just amazing! I completely agree, it's poetic justice. Since arriving at USC, Sanchez has been arrested for raping a student, has been detained for vandalizing a fraternity house, has been involved in brawls, was caught lying to the LA Times about videotaped evidence against him using a fake ID and engaging in underage drinking and so many more activities that brought shame and embarrassment to the university.

Now.........the one chance he had to play this year...and he's broken his thumb and is out! Oh, that's just too funny! I am genuinely laughing so hard right now, my stomach is aching!

I'm sure Sanchez will use this as an excuse for why Mustain won the starting job in 2008...but yet more lies from him. Mustain was always going to win the job, but Sanchez has never let the truth get in the way of things.

Oh, this is poetic justice in such a pure sense. Sanchez's misery causes so much joy. It really couldn't have happened to a worse person. Bad things really do happen to bad people!

This must be what it feels like when doves cry!!!!!

While I still think Mustain will edge out Sanchez in 2008, when you are trying to win another National Championship it is never a good thing to have your No. 2 QB go down with an injury. And while everyone likes to egg on Door Prize, I have a hard time seriously believing that people are happy when a USC player gets injured...not cool.

That being said, I really like Corp and know he will get some great experience while Sanchez is out...and hopefully Booty stays healthy.

I agree that Mustain will beat Sanchez in 2008, but I also have great hope that Corp will rise to the occasion this year if anything happens to Booty.

This is a very good opportunity for Corp and the best case scenario for him. I have never been sold on Sanchez and do not believe he ever had the talent to compete at this level. I actually far prefer Corp to back up Booty than Sanchez, while we wait for Mustain to start next year. Sanchez going down is not as big of a loss as it would have been last year, when there were no other options at QB. We have back ups now that are completely capable of stepping up should something happen to Booty, and Corp is more than up for the job.
