Keep It Simple

Not that the shotgun was going to be a vital aspect of the offense Saturday but the troubles at center will probably mean far less attempts at it against Idaho. One of worst experiences with the shotgun occurred in the second closed scrimmage when freshman Kris O'Dowd's snapped sailed about 20 yards behind quarterback Mike McDonald.

premiere program in the country and we can't even do the shotgun...geez my brother and I can do the shotgun is it that difficult?

Nice foreshadowing, Scott.

You and your brother don't have to block NG or DT's.

Am I the only Trojan fan that is extremely worried about Spanos being out?

Center is the most crucial part of the line. I'm worried about that Nebraska game.

I can USC's annual problems have arose all the Denials are coming again out of the closet. A No.1 team is not what is taking field Sat.

SC has not run the Shot Gun in Pete Carroll’s tenure, and last time I checked the results have been just fine.

Petingtong, I would worry more about the Guard position; Bryers has taken started at the Center Position before he will be fine.

66…..... Never mind!?!

The only time it killed us was I think AZ ST a number of years ago. We lost about 3 centers DURING the game and got smoked partially due to a number of bad snaps.
It doesn't matter if Petros snaps for us against Idaho. And we have plenty of time to prepart to husk the corn...no worries!

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
