If you need any more evidence your coach has forgotten he coaches KIDS and not NFL players, this is it. For heaven's sake, this is a KID, USC is loaded with talent...let the KID freaking go where he wants!

Yeah, and Karl Dorrell thinks his players are "kids?" Who the heck wants their "kids" to spend significant amounts of time around criminals (Eric Scott)? I want my "kids" to be upstanding citizens, so I'll have them be trained by a guy with a criminal history. Yeah Karl Dorrell loves his kids a lot.

I think the subtext of the article is that Starr may have had something to do with Holland leaving. Perhaps with Moody leaving as well, though that is not alleged. It is remarkable that a player from Texas would want to go to school in Florida...especially after he was touting Ok State.

My impression was that it's to dissuade other programs from illegally tampering with the players by sending them a message that was along the lines of:
-if you tamper with our players we'll make sure you won't get them-

So it was just reported that Moody is transferring to Florida...is his situation that different from Holland’s because Holland did not conduct himself in the same manner as Moody and was “dismissed” from the team?

It's amazing that the so-called legitimate press isn't all over this story. If Yahoo sports gets tired of chasing after Reggie Bush, they can do a little checking into Urban Meyer's recruiting tactics. This isn't the first time he's bent the rules. and how exactly does one go from being a high school coach to head of football operations at the reigning national champion college team?
