Each day a list of players who did not practice is published by the media. Several key injured players have received media coverage. What is the injury status or alternative priorities of the other players who are not participating in practices?

Do you ever play the game where you know what questions you are going to ask Pete Carroll and write down what you think he will say before hand in response? You must feel like interviewing Pete has no value. You have to ask him questions to get the quote for your story, I know. But Pete is as bad as any politician these days.

Is the shotgun working out well? Are many passes getting batted?
Also, are USC fans in general as whiny and bitchy are they are in the comments section of this blog? Or is this just a special, horrific cross section?

Scott, you seem to have overlooked my last question. No biggie, I'll repeat it here. But if you don't answer again, then I'll take the hint.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We’ve heard Pete Carroll say this will be his last coaching job, but we’ve also heard him say he’ll entertain the pros if the right opportunity comes along (full, absolute, dictatorial control). However, you as well as others have pointed out his professional shortcomings. I guess he’s branded as a defensive guru, a top-notch college coach, but an NFL failure.
What’s your over-under on the number of wins Coach Carroll will accumulate during his SC tenure? 65 in 6 seasons thus far. Another 6-year run like this and he’ll pass legendary coaches Jones (121) and McKay (127). Of course it can happen, but is it likely?

What will be the biggest difference between this year's offense with Sarkisian running the show as compared to last season with Kiffin/Sarkisian?

Does Al Rowe's position change have to do more with Stanley Havili's injury prone status or the play of Jones and Harris at Safety?

Do you know which person handles the poster and ticket design in the athletic department. I have an idea for next year or maybe basketball season.

What's your current ranking of the RB's based on what you've seen so far? As you rank them could you also give the number of possible carries/touches per game (of a total of 40 carries).

From what you said at the scrimmage, it all comes down to the OL, what will make this year's OL better than last year and can it win the BCS title game? We were one block short in the last one.

Scott:
Seeing as how Mike Garrett is now 63 years old, is he planning on retiring in the next year or two? Are there any names being mentioned yet as possible successors? Will the hire come from within the department or from outside?

With McDonald as the No. 2 QB now, in order to protect Corp's redshirt year, do you think there would be a chance McDonald would start if Booty gets injured, or does it appear Corp will become the starter in that scenario?

Scott,
Do you think Arizona State could be the surprise challenge on the schedule this year? It's an away game on Thanksgiving and with Dennis Erikson at the helm, it could be the game that derails the Trojans' BCS hopes.

Hey Scott, with all these players transferring out these past few months, does that mean more walk ons will be awarded scholarships? Or will the scholarships be held over until next year so we can recruit additional players?

Scott:
Does Elevatorgate not prove that:
1) Mitch Mustain knew he should take an alternate route that day so a certain culprit (hmmm....) could not derail his destiny with foul play?
2) Mitch Mustain is guided by divine intervention?
3) The real reason Sanchez has his hand in a cast is so he can't be fingerprinted?
Will there be a chapter in "Mitch and Me" about how our hero Mitch Mustain is always one step ahead of danger, thus proving he is, in fact, The Chosen One?
Are you investigating whether Pedalgate and Elevatorgate are tied together?
Does it now appear that "Mitch and Me" will be a multi-volume collection that will be your life's work? Could it be a spiritual exploration attempting to explain how Mitch Mustain is always one step ahead of the temple of doom that befalls the other players but never our hero?
Fight on!

Scott, this time of year makes a lot of us miss Marv Goux. A class act and a bona-fide character!
With that in mind, what is the funniest training camp story (that you can write about, here in the blog without getting in trouble)?
Also, how is John Robinson doing these days? I heard he may have some health issues.
Keep up the fine work, pardner ...

Scott - Any truth to the rumor that Marc Tyler is very frustrated right now because his Doctor has cleared him to start practicing, but USC's Doctors have not cleared him and have held him out of practice (possibly in an attempt to get Tyler to red shirt this year)?

Fluor Tower -
Just an FYI, Mark Sanchez was already fingerprinted last year when he was arrested for sexual assault, so the cast on his hand does not make any difference whether the LAPD can identify him or not. His fingerprints are already on file.

I was hoping you could explain the transfer rules a little more. If I understand correctly, Moody will sit a year and play as a junior in 2008.
If an incoming freshman decided to transfer would that mean he'd sit 2007 and play as a sophmore in 2008 and does it matter if they transfer before or during the season?

Is it possible for Corp to impress the coaches so much in practice that he can move past McDonald to #2? Or has it already been decided that he will redshirt this year no matter how good he is and what happens to the QBs ahead of him?

Greetings Wise Wolfie:
In my opinion, O. J. Simpson remains a cut above any other football runner I have ever seen.
In your opinion, is he innocent or guilty of being a double-murderer?
Hope you take the question, as it is asked in all seriousness, as I value your opinion. Thanks.

Hi Scott:
How much of a surprise was Moody's departure considering all the speculation surrounding Stafon Johnson coming into camp?
Could this defection carry any implications as far as other defecting (ala Bradford, Hazelton) by the end of camp or others reconsidering their decision to come (Darrell Scott)?
Thanks.

Greetings, Mr Wolf. How do you do? Good, I trust.
I have question for you regarding Mitch Mustain. I have read and heard numerous sports reporters and so-called "football experts" describe young Mr Mustain as "a complete quarterback," meaning that he has a strong arm, is accurate, has speed, mobility, can read defenses, et al.
Do you happen to agree or disagree with this assessment?
Thank you for taking the time to answer this question.

Well, Munro seems to have gone to ground for some reason, so I will raise the question. What do you think of City's chances against United in the big Manchester derby on Sunday? And how will Chelsea fair at Liverpool?
