Northwestern had a fluke couple of years in the mid-1990s, then reverted back to going winless in the Big Ten and being involved in a point shaving scandal that resulted in several of their players ending up in prison. 2) Scott actually said that if it was a "virtual tie," he believed that the edge would go to Sanchez over Mustain, but did not believe it would come down to a tie.
