Post Scrimmage

It's always easy to focus on the freshmen at scrimmages but quarterback Aaron Corp offered a new look this season. Corp is tall like Matt Leinart but with better speed.
His arm is not strong by college standards yet but he made up for it by finding the open receivers during the scrimmage.

Uh oh. Man-crush alert!!

This is the second pro-Corp thing I've read here in the last 24 hours. Let's all hope that Corp doesn't start hanging with the celebs anytime soon. We all know how ugly it can get when Scott turns on you.

...watch Corp beat out Mustain and Sanchez in 2008! That would be awesome.

I agree with JJH4USC, that would be funny.

Yeah, that would be pretty damn funny! Hell, it would be even funnier if Corp somehow managed to start in the middle of THIS season!!!!

1. Who isn't faster than Matt Leinart?

2. Corp's arm is strong, at the camps it was not quite as strong as Clausen's but he has a pretty good arm..so it's not that bad.

3. This sounds to me like Scott trying to stir up the message boards again. Sanchez has a paper cut and all of a sudden we get 2 articles about how great Corp is.

4. Scott your "lindy's" magazine rated the USC D-line as the best in the Pac 10, but your NFL scout says it's "adequate"

What's up?

5. Are players really getting mad At Everson's attitude?

6. Why does Notre Dame suck so bad?

7. And finally, is Mitch going to hire a "test rider" for his bike, (like Kings used to have people to test their food to make sure it wasn't poisoned) in case there is another pedalgate?

Hey 66:
I hope you know Sanchez injury is worse than a paper cut. Try a harline FX in his thumb [R] throwing hand. According to PC it might take a week or three. If it takes three means he'll miss the season opener.
Pls. don't fall for another pedal gate, you're smarter than that!
Peace!

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
