I'll be speaking August 25 at the Friendly Hills Country Club in the beautiful hills of Whittier. Maybe if we're lucky, we can get the beautiful, big black cat to make a cameo appearance. For event and ticket information, click on the link after the jump.

One word describing our altruistic reporter who has admonished everyone from Leinart to the University for charging the fans of the program. Hypocrite.

Good call on the hypocrisy, guys. First, the arrogance to think that people would actually shell out this type of money to hear Scott speak. Second, the fact that he roasted Leinart and Bush for charging for autographs is a delicious irony.

You guys are such haters. I'd imagine that the venue they're using for this event isn't free, and that the food provided isn't free either. That's probably where the $40 is going. Do you honestly think that the venue would just give them a room, and the chef would just buy and prepare food at no charge, because they really care about making sure a bunch of SC alums get the chance to hang out and talk SC football? Not so much. The Trojan family is pretty strong in the business world (I've used the network to get me my last two jobs), but you guys should show some business sense and realize that they need money to put on events like this, and it doesn't just go into SW's pocket.
That's not the point. Scott has consistently criticized events that charge a fee to fans. Not too long ago, Scott condemned Carroll and the University for charging money for an event where Pete spoke to fans regarding the program. It’s just funny to me that Scott is now putting his hand out and asking the same group to shell out money to hear him speak. Do you really think that if Leinart, Bush, or Carroll took this gig, Scott wouldn’t be the first one to point it out and dismiss it as another money making scheme by any of these guys? Of course admission would be more than $40 because really, in comparison, how much can you charge for Scott Wolf? I wonder if Scott gets an appearance fee?? What a joke.
Was the Carroll event on campus? If so, they didn't have to pay for the venue.
Why would we pay to hear you talk about a qb who's not going to play for at least a year when we can read it here for free?

LOL Lots of hostility here toward Scott--except for King--and I only made a dumb joke--but where are all of Scotts' friends? Good thing for him he only reads the comments to his forum answers.
