Quick Scrimmage Take

| | Comments (2) |

The offense did not react well to the defense's pass pressure tonight. It's not unusual for the first week of camp, but it's also true many teams will try to pressure more after watching last year's UCLA game.
Josh Pinkard played cornerback although Pete Carroll said part of the reason was Cary Harris sat out with a sore hamstring.

Well, isn't that what this "NFL scout" said?

JDB looked pretty good under pressure in the OSU game to me...I don't think the UCLA game was cracking under the pressure..it was more like, UCLA had every WR covered and they played the game of their life.

JDB also has another year of experience. I don't think he is the cool customer Leinart was who was laughing on the sideline when USC was losing to ND in 2005, but he does OK.

Wow, lots of negative talk here..only an "adequate" D-line, QB who cracks under the pressure, poor secondary, so what, we are going to go 7-5 this year? That's not what I hear eleswhere.

BTW Scott nice article on the LB's in the Lindy's preview mag...just read it. :o)
