Hey looks like Darryl Gross is asking for some payback considering all the good he did when he was asst. AD at USC - yeah let's play the Orangemen or Oraneg or whatever they call themselves now - good move!
Not so sure about BC though in 2013 & 2014 - those MA fans are such (fill in the blank) i.e Celtics, Red Sox and Patriots - unbelievably awful.

OK I am going to say rusoviet hit the nail right on the head here...payback time for Gross. I saw an interview with him on TV once and he said he is trying to make Syracuse like USC...well, good luck with that. So he wants to play them and bring USC in.
Well, fine, USC is a class school and takes care of it's own and is throwing him a bone. Kinda cringe at what the score of that game will be with Corp throwing it all over to B. Butler and DJ Shoemate.
I am not much of Boston fan either..I think the Celtics, Patriots, et al, and their fans kind of suck.
The only good thing is that their is alot of football talent up there, like Hazelton from NY. We need to show our face and get the attention of some recruits.

This will be a blessing for us East Coast Trojans. The Games on this side are few. Orange Bowl 2003, Auburn 2003, Orange bowl 2004, VA Tech 2004, and midway with ND 2003 and 2005. These will be great. Not that I don't like comming home but the 2005 season almost killed me. I made every home game. I have since cut the home game season attendance in half. So bring it on. I would love to see another booty call against a SEC team in the South East.

Boston College and Syracuse are the type of team U.S.C. should be scheduling.
Good academics, private schools, urban locations (at least B.C.).
The same criteria make Miami a school we should be playing regularly.

Scott,
Any info on schedule plans for 2086 thru 2089 yet? Do you think Pete Carroll will retire by then?

Amen to that man - we need to shut up these SEC clowns, Les Miles being the chief clown.

I love all this smack talk about Boston fans. What the eff are you guys talking about. Boston and NY have the best fans in the country. LA fans absolutely suck. Why do you think you don't have a football team? I was at the collesium in 2001 and it wasn't even half full. Bunch of bandwagon jackasses. Go Sox. Go Pats. Go C's. Three championships 07-08.
Fight On.

BostonTrojan:
We don't have a pro football team because Al Davis and Georgia Frontiere are greedy owners who extracted tremendous deals with Oakland and St. Louis, respectively. They took the money, and ran. Moreover, LA taxpayers do not want to capitulate to the monetary demands of an incoming franchise (new or established) and foot the bill for a new stadium for some billionaire owner. As for LA fans, you haven't been to the Coliseum lately, where 90,000+ fans are screaming their ass off during another Trojan victory. We also have tremendous fan support for the Dodgers (over 3.5 million each year) and Angels. Hell, even the Clippers sell out every now and then. Take your east coast bias and stick it in your clam chowder.
