We hear a settlement was reached on the Matt Leinart child-custody case this afternoon, or three weeks after TMZ.com reported it being settled.

forget about leinart. what is the story on sanchez fracturing the thumb on his throwing hand??? heard he will be out at least 3 weeks. does this mean we use corp for mop-up duty against idaho? it would be a shame to burn his redshirt on such a meaningless game, but if sanchez is unable to go, corp is next on the depth chart.
What a pansy. Mitch Mustain would just throw with his other hand. Or tuck the ball and run it. Or punt it off the defensive back's back (so the receiver could recover it). Broken thumb. Geez.

Meanwhile, in SC football related news, Sanchez is reportedly out 3-4 weeks with a thumb fracture.
How sad for Wolfie that he is getting scooped by a newbie while he chases personal vendettas against Leinart.
Love how you rip on Malcolmson for not knowing you were in earshot when he said his blog would not be a "Scott Wolf type of blog". He's right. He actaully reported breaking news instead of surfing TMZ and the gossip rags for an alumnus he has a personal vendetta against...
You're crossing barriers of hypocricy that even I didn't think you could reach. Criticizing someone else for reporting premature, bad gossip?? Hello? Try Googling ["Scott Wolf" "CJ Spiller"] or ["Scott Wolf" "Desean Jackson"], and tell us what comes up.
By the way, what happened to all those academically-in-peril recruits that you've told us about the past 3 signing days? It looks like they made it into school and breezed through the NCAA Clearinghouse with scant a mention... but how?
Then again, I suppose speculating about a teenager's private academic record or whether or not a young man committed suicide (or accidentally fell to his death) doesn't warrant the type of strict journalistic scrutiny that a report about how many thousands of dollars per month an ex-player's ex-girlfriend is getting in child support does.

I agree with usc_82. Scott, please report on the match-fitness of Sanchez.
