Scott, I didn’t see you last night...but at least I got Mustain to sign my copy of Mitch & Me (since he was sitting at the table next to us with Booty!).

Okay, back to the forum...this is kind of a broad two part question: Could you give us an update on when some of the key, injured players are projected to be ready to play again (i.e. Sanchez, Washington, CJ, McKnight, Hazelton)...and at this point in the week (I know a lot can happen from now till next Saturday), who do you believe will be starting against Idaho for SC on the offensive side of the ball?

Are there still rumors that Shareece Wright still may transfer? I can't see Josh Pinkard switching to CB helping.

Is PC trying to recruit some CB's? Looking at the depth chart, in '09 we will be down to V. Joseph and S. Wright (If he's still here) I read an op/ed on Rivals.com saying PC "can't close the deal on top CB's"...do you agree?

What's the deal with WR's now? Everyone is harping on the "10 deep TB rotation". Now we have 4 WR's coming in (Polk, Shoemate, Adams and Brice Butler) on top of Ausberry Hazelton Turner Patterson Johnson, Garrett Green Damian Williams and Brandon Carswell. By my count that's 12 WR's on Scholarship + walk ons and they are really trying to get Julio Jones....Bringing in Mouse Davis and going to the Hawai'i Run n Shoot? Expecting some transfers? Starting a "We have more WR's than anyone!" campaign?

Hi, Scott. First time asking a question so I figured I'd stay away from the Mitch Mustain category. How about someone that hasn't been mentioned yet (I don't think)? How has Marshall Jones been doing in practice? Is he OK with waiting his turn behind Mays and Ellison or would he consider a transfer?

I think Carroll likes having the hype of a #1 recruiting class, maybe I'm wrong but that seems to be his M.O.

Again, I think SC recruits excellent athletes and I wish we got Griffen.... but if you look in the past, high recruiting rankings doesn't put you in the NC game automatically.

Any early prediction for the Nebraska game? Do you think that Sam Keller will be talking trash like he did two years ago at ASU?

Assuming Chauncey sits out for the Idaho game, do you believe Stafon Johnson has a legit chance of starting at tailback, or do you think C.J. Gable would start (because of the supposed 'lovefest' and experience advantage)?

And when do you think the starter would be announced (assuming CW sits out)?

With the Idaho game now less than a week away, it's time to stick to questions about this years' team only.

When I look at this current edition of the Trojans, I see its' greatest strength as being overall team defense--and its' greatest weakness as being lack of depth accross the OL and at DT.

What do you see as being our greatest strengths and weaknesses?

Why did you describe Mitch Mustain as a "pro-style" quarterback rather than a "college-style" quarterback? Please explain why you do not believe Mustain is a "college-style" quarterback and what the difference is?

Scott, 2 Questions.
1. Chris Gallippo looks like a decent sized fellow do they look at playing him up like Cushing last year some, or just at Inside Linebacker.

2. Can you evaluate the strengths of Kyle Moore and Everson Griffen. I know Moore is 6'6" so his height should be great at knocking down passes and Griffen is super fast for his position can you expand on those things from what you have seen?

Now that Nick Howell has fallen behind both Matt Spanos and Kris O'Dowd, who is a freshman, on the depth chart, do you think he will consider transferring after the season? Will he still be on the travel team this season?

Will Broderick Green get a lot of playing time against Idaho?

Are there any kind of promotions or marketing efforts being planned for OJ Mayo's debut, as well as the rest of the season to coincide with his time as a Trojan?

While it sounds like we will be using a ton of different defensive packages this year, and we will be switching to primarily a 4/3, will the 3/4 get extensive use or will it be relegated to more of a very specific situational use? Will Cushing maintain the role of Elephant then, or would that role be taken by Moore or EG?

In your opinion, has Mustain made a successful transition from a high school to college quarterback? Has he developed sufficiently to succeed at the next level?

Can you give us the story on Alfred Rowe? What prompted his request to move to fullback, how he's adjusting to the move/ new position, what the coaches think of the switch, and his chances of seeing playing time.
