If losing Matt Spanos is not enough, No.3 center Nick Howell is also out with a groin injury. Alex Parsons, who just moved to offensive line earlier this month, will try to become the No. 3 center.

Maybe that Gopher from CAddyShack is loose on practice field.
PC should quit now why he can field a team.

I hate to say this, but USC seems to get an inordinate amount of injuries and muscle strains. Maybe it's time to hire a new strength and conditioning coach...or put the players through Yoga or something.
I know many injuries are fluke things, but with the number USC seems to have...I wonder if some are preventable.

Time to bubble-wrap the players in between games.

A lot of these injuries can also be caused by what the players put into their systems, such as supplements and other products that wear away their bodies. If you recall, Brandon Hancock was always injured.
Someone needs to monitor what these players are taking, so hopefully they won't end up needlessly injured and out for long stretches of time.

Settle down on the steroids/supplements angle. While USCBUAD92 is using the onset of injuries to argue for it, all the baseball "experts" are using the onset of injuries after testing began to show that players were using them before the testing began.
So which is it? Do you get hurt while using the cream and the clear or get hurt later?

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
