Why? Just so he could get hurt again and miss another season.

Pete Carroll sure has a great eye for talent......that cant get on the field.

Tough loss.

Hopfully he can heal up and have a great season in 08, perhaps not need that sixth year.

Good Call USC_89:

Lets get FirePC.com up and running and see if we can't put heat on President Sample to buyout Pete's contract. Then we can go after Urban Meyer and win some Pac 10 titles, BCS Bowl games, and maybe even an NC.

What a negative nozzle!

Not sure why you're surprised T&T. "Fans" on this board are typical SC alums who think THEY should be coaching the Trojans. They whine about injuries (not suppose to happen in football), they whine about fucla's fans, and they whine about not winning a NC every year. What's worse is I have to hear it in person at every home game. Same fat, old A-Holes that sit on their hands and yell "down in front" when the defense is trying to make a stop on 3rd down. But it just makes me stand longer and cheer louder for the guys. I hope Pinkard heals up nicely and gets his sixth year.

anyone know how he injured the knee?

OK we are now down to 3 CB's...T2 Cary Harris and S. Wright.

Are they going to do anything about this Scott or are we going to try to go the whole season with 3 CB's? Bring back the Ting twins>?

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
