Thanks Scott..please, for the record, which line is he going to be on? He has bounced from Offense to defense the whole time...and why offense? We got like 4 stud O-lineman coming in headed by Kalil..I thought the mantra for this year is
WE NEED DEFENSIVE ENDS!!
Isn't that what Reardon was?
Does anyone else see the Nebraska game as a possible loss? I mean, they looked sharp and focused last week vs. whatever cupcake they played and hung like 60 points on them. We only won last year 28-14 and that's because they had a dumb gameplan and were playing not to lose.
USC seemed to be disinterested and unfocused. Alot of young guys out there who made mistakes and Booty had his usual boneheaded INT..and playing in Nebraska is a bitch that whole town is going to be going nuts...a couple of McKnight fumbles or bad passes by JDB and we are going to be in trouble..

They won't be running it 50 times like last year..Keller can throw and we didn't exactly shut down Idaho. I remember he got us pretty good at ASU..

Evidently USC1966 doesn't remember the game last year very well, or the 2005 ASU game for that matter.
We won 28-10! A quick viewing of the drive chart reveals we only had 9 drives (not counting the take a knee drive at the end) but scored 4 TD's. We only had one drive in the 2nd quarter because Neb ran to keep our O off the field.A
Also, Neb didn't even find the end zone until early in the fourth quarter so the game was effectively over early in the 2nd half.
As for Keller, yeah he got us good with those 5 INT's! One good half does not a whole game make!

I imagine he was switched to OLine because we are a little thin this year when it comes to depth.
A number of starters are battling injury including Spanos, Baker and Radovich, while our DE depth right now is solid.
Next year however he will likely return to DE when our likely 5 man OLine class arrives.
And every game is a potential loss, but i honestly do not see us losing to Nebraska.

Crap. Now we have to find something else to yell besides "Bring in Breuer!" when Booty stumbles on his fourth drive after taking the Trojans a combined 210 yards for 3 TDs on the first three.

Ha ha...well stated BoscoH.
I agree the Idaho game was less than exciting to watch after the first quarter, but there was a purpose to it all. The chicken little fans need to relax and trust that the team will be ready to play the corn. Some of these posts are beginning to read like the bRuins.

A walk-on quit the team. Can't blame him. I did the same thing in my stint at SC. The difference between high school ball and college was shocking to me. And I may have been light, but I was slow.

Except for TexASS, usually, PC has the team pretty well prepared after a bye week. Just a scary game thats all. DL? MLB? and WR's?
Fight ON!

Jay#42,
I appreciate your confidence after a bye but if there is anytime we are week it is after a bye.
Of the four losses in the past 4 years, 3 have come after a bye week (or bowl layoff.)
Cal '03, Texas '06, and Oregon St. '06,

I should proofread on this site or I will get grilled!
It should have read, "anytime we are weak it is after a bye."
Sorry to the English nuts out there.
