What's the story behind him leaving Notre Dame.

On a related note, Bruce Feldman hinted that another high profile sophomore at ND is thinking about leaving. It's like rats off a sinking ship over there. I guess "Jimmy and the Fat Man" doesn't appeal to everyone.
P.S. Charlie Weis looks like the number 8.
So now he sees the error of his ways. Well too late buddy...you chose poorly. Let this be a lesson to all others buying into Weis' false bravado.
Apparently the rap on Rueland is he was a fair blocker but had no real speed and could not get any separation and Weis wanted to move him over to
guard or tackle.
He slipped to 4th on the depth chart, and they've got another two 4 & 5 star TE's coming in for '08. Being 0-4 with the worst offense in Div 1-A probably didn't help. How much longer until Jimmy follows suit?
