MARK IS HUMBLE--HE WAS THE #1 QB HIS SENIOR YEAR---AS WAS MITCH---SO IT WILL BE A GOOD FIGHT NEXT SPRING FOR THE STARTING QB JOB---MAY THE BEST MAN WIN!!

Too bad Mustain will beat him out, so Sanchez may end up in Nebraska next year after all, just like Sam Keller transferred for his final year. By the way, Sanchez was the No. 2 QB in his class, not No. 1.

This from Pete Fiutak of College Football News from a couple days ago:

Even so, note how bad some of recent years were, and what an all-timer 2006 might turn out to be. Here are the top quarterbacks in recent classes.

2006: (based on CFN rankings at the time). 1. Mitch Mustain, Arkansas (he WILL be the next great USC QB)

2005: 1. Ryan Perrilloux, LSU, 2. Mark Sanchez, USC

So you mean to tell me that Mark "The Nightstalker" Sanchez could have gone to Nebraska and some girl at USC would not have been raped? But chances are some Nebraska student would have been raped by The Nightstalker instead. What would the Children of the Corn have done to The Nightstalker then?

Sanchez ('05), and the transfer from Arkansas ('06), were the unanimous, #1 rated QB's in their respective classes. Not a bad situation for the Trojans to be in. Let the kids decide the starter next year... on the field.

I'm tired of Korat's constant smear campaign against our backup quarterback. Just because you call him the "nightstalker" doesn't make it true. Just like everyone calling you the Anal Avenger, Butt Pirate, or Prostate Milker doesn't make you the king of sodomy (even though that's probably closer to the truth than what you say about Mark Sanchez.)
So in closing, take your negative vibe, your mop, and your bus tokens over to Westwood where they appreciate that kind of crap.

To be fair, the children of the corn line WAS pretty funny!!!

Orange Julius:
Rivals.com has more CFB recognition than scout.com
According to Rivals:
http://rivals100.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=1&pr_Key=25498
Sanchez was the 2005 #1 QB(Position #1) witha 6.1 mark.
Korat eat that $#*T of your damn mouth.
Thnx

Nope, Scout is considered much higher than Rivals by football experts and insiders. Fiutak is perhaps the most prolific college football writer in the country. He's sharp and knowledgeable. If he says something, you should pay attention.

IF Sanchez was the starting QB, this 'revenge' angle might be interesting....

Hate to beat a dead horse, but...Perrilloux was Scout.com's "Player of the Year" for 2004. Mainly, because he was a QB/Athlete (returned kicks, played some defense, and had incredible stats as dual- threat QB). Mark was the #1 rated QB by Rivals and Scout, and Parade Magazine's "Player of the Year" for the same year. But, it doesn't mean crap until one of them earns a starting job.

Is Korat a Ruin? and what about Orange Julius? They're both Sanchez haters. I just wonder what their agenda really is?

FO, Beat the Huskers!

HS DROPOUT-AT4USC-DOOR-AND SOME MORE--GREAT POSTS!!

Not anti anyone and not pro anyone. Have no agenda, just stating the facts.

George Tirebiter One... wrote a short, respectful, comment about Sanchez, and Mustain. OJ countered with a OPINION about the two, and a NON-FACT about Mark being #2. OJ and Guru, of all the organizations that rate HS players, what ones had Perrilloux(QB) over Sanchez(QB)? It sure wasn't your favorite rating service...SCOUT.

I already provided the link above, but here it is again:

I copied and pasted that piece above, but here it is again:

OJ...Pete Fiutak is a fine COLLEGE football writer. He writes for COLLEGE FOOTBALL NEWS, under the umbrella of Scout.com. Please go to Scout.com, then to FB Recruiting, to Prospects, to 2005, to Mark Sanchez, to Scout.com All-American Team. This will let any reader check out 2002 through 2008, and more.
