Nebraska Fever

USC's quiet walk-through Friday afternoon at Westside High School in Omaha brought a crowd of more than 500 after a local radio station announced where the Trojans practiced.
That forced USC coach Pete Carroll to move the team from the football field to a baseball field that was partially blocked from public view.
``There was a little drama,'' Carroll said. ``We had to hide out a little bit. The word got out. Usually we keep it under wraps. Good for the Nebraska fans.''
Westside is the exclusive high school in Omaha and one USC player left a parting gift by hanging on a goal post, which left it crooked.

Good for him. Now Pete knows what it was like in '05 for the NFL scouts trying to run the pro-day with all those fans around.

It sounds like a crazy scene there in Lincoln. I don't see the Virginia or Boston College roadies being that electric as those markets are somewhat jaded and/or worldly.
I wonder what would be comparable to Lincoln...Boone, NC?

Nowhere on the planet Trojan&tonic. Nebraska has all the amenities that LA does without the smog, Mexicans, and people that THINK they are important.

Bill Gates lives in Washington, and the second richest man in the USA lives in Omaha, Nebraska.

OJ has apparently just "scored" again for the Trojans.

Fight on!

OJ must have studied under the UCLA receiver's coach.
Was that guy doing a "sting" too?

***From the Big Red Board-Please Read USC Coaches***

"I was at the Practice today at Westside HS. USC ran their first 15 scripted plays. Almost every one was either a misdirection run or a screen pass. Lots of short stuff into the flats."

Who needs videocameras when you have Children of the Corn watching your practices and posting details on Fan Boards?

Nebraska fever causes you to break into a hotel room in Vegas to steal memorabilia.

You have not paid the Goldmans a dime, if you need memorabilia, just buy is!

Way to go SUC..vandalize a local high school's football equipment. Way to build a fan base.

Trojan&Tonic - that made NO sense. OJ is the shame of the USC nation and mentioning him and UCLA in the same breath is beyond pointless.

Just like Snoop Dogg wearing his Dwayne Jarrett jersey coming out after being arrested, OJ is shown signing a USC mini helmet after being arrested!

Arrest On!

"Nebraska has all the amenities that LA does without the smog, Mexicans..."

Stay classy, Bruins!
