Question Of The Day
Is everyone still as proud about beating Michigan? And does Wolverines defensive coordinator fear USC or Appalachian State more?

He probably fears a blood transfusion from Scott Wolf more than both combined.

I think the Big 10 in general looks weak. First, Michigan and Ohio State get crushed in BCS bowl games. Then the App State meltdown on Saturday. Maybe Wisconsin can save the Midwest this year!

Why not? Their defense lost Woodley and Hall, among others. Last year's UM team would have beaten Appy handily.
If UM played Appy State nine more times, UM would win all nine games.
I know it's football season when two things occur on this blog: John Redcorn returns and Scott's reporting becomes lazier and more cynical than usual.

The Big-10 is overrated year after year, living in the past. They get exposed in bowl games every year. Beating Michigan is not what it once was, unfortunately.

The only team more overrated than UM is USC!

Scott,
Do you just think up these ridiculous posts all day or does it just come easy to you now?
You're starting to sound like the idiots that didn't realize USC would be offensively weaker after losing Matt, Reggie and Lendale all in the same year.
Michigan lost all their defensive stars but you want us to pretend like it's still the same team so you can make a silly point and/or degrade a USC win?
Since we're apparently now dealing in crazy I have a great (i.e. equally stupid) question for you.
Since Boise St beat OU do you think they will make it to the NC game this year?

Yes, of course the Trojan faithfull should still be proud of the 2007 RB victory. Lest anyone forget, most of the talking heads and many bloggers didn't think USC had a chance against the O or D lines of the Wolverines.
However, that was then. Different UM team, different season, Scott!!
With roster turnovers, the fact that an extremely difficult and physical game is played by 18-21 year olds, not to mention the emotions involved in the game, create a much more unpredictable and exciting atmosphere. These reasons are why I find college football so much more enjoyable than the NFL.
Lloyd Carr and UM may be on a downslide, but they may regroup and win out. We won't know until the season is over.

And by the same token, does Notre Dame's ass-whuppin at the hands of GT devalue LSU's Sugar Bowl win? Totally different (and more pathetic) ND team too.
Wonder if Donovan Warren is having regrets yet.

Great post AlwaysBeatND:
Of course it should devalue LSU's Sugar Bowl win!

I would still take UM's offensive coordinator over Kiffin!
NEWS FLASH: BOOTY SUCKS!!!
Want proof? Watch the highly touted DB from Nebraska who didn't play against us last year (well, he didn't play any games for that matter because he tore his ACL) watch Booty LOCKED ON to Patrick Turner then intercept the ball and TAKE IT TO THE HOUSE!
That great Nebraska DB will intercept this crappy QB we have...

13-9 is dead.
JR:
We'll see. IF USC beats NE would you take your chill pill?
Thnx
