Who is this kid? Is he a beast? Where did he come from? Does he like to eat red Washington meat? Does he like Roman Meal bread?
Let him loose baby, Carroll recruited him for a reason.
Maybe the kid got depressed in Lincoln when he realized he would have been a starter already if he had accepted the Nebraska offer and Coach Carroll threw him a bone.
"Emo kids." I still laugh at that one.
This tells me a few things:
1) Carroll realizes what a hude advantage both our front lines give us, and he needs to keep increasing depth there in case of injury.
2) stockpiling redshirts goes against the whole Carroll mantra of competition, competition, competition. If you're the best, (or even second or third best,) at your position, you should be ready to play and want to play. He doesn't recruit guys and plan to to sit them for a whole year, period.
3) he gets so many top prospects, he knows he has to throw them bones every once in awhile to 'keep them wanting more'. An entertainment reference there, just for fun...
That still begs the question - Joe M. got his touches late in the game, but what's going to happen to CJ's attitude? And who knew that H Dennis was still alive? I totally forgot about him....
