Redshirt News

Cornerback Kevin Thomas said he will redshirt this season because his shoulder feels too ``tight'' following offseason surgery.
``I’m just trying to get it better,’’ Thomas said.
Thomas will be a fourth-year junior next year, which means he no longer is in the same class as Cary Harris and Josh Pinkard.

WTF???

Scott, please......

Even I know more than you.

Josh Pinkard graduated in 2004.

Cary Harris, Will Harris, and Kevin Thomas all graduated in 2005.

This means.....Josh Pinkard and Cary Harris are not, and have never been in the same class.

Cary Harris and KeTo (as Thomas likes to be called) are in the same class.

So this year, Pinkard is a redshirt junior. Cary Harris is a true junior, and Kevin Thomas is NOW considered a redshirt sophmore. Will Harris? Who knows...dude is damaged goods.

Now I see your point that both Cary Harris and Pinkard are juniors...although you mislead people because you did not mention that Pinkard is a RS JR, while Cary Harris is a JR.

I hope you're not losing it Scott...lol.

Hell, Kevin Thomas might as well just work on his degree and forget about football. Remember last year at Arkansas how he scooped up that fumble in the first game, then got hurt when Rey Rey banged into him attempting to block Hogs?

Something I remember more vividly is that scrub Kevin Thomas being the last one to have a shot at VY in the Rose Bowl.

#15 is always in the clips from that fateful night of January 4, 2006.

Thanks for blowing it for me and the rest of the SC bettors that night Kevin!!! You had the last shot at VY, and you blew it! SCRUB!!!

However, I do have to think that Kevin Thomas is better than that BUST Darnell Bing!

RedCorn-

Quit being a nozzle. Wolfie obviously means Football eligibility class. This is a sports blog not a matriculation blog. Who really cares when any football player graduated HS or which year he is scheduled to graduate form USC. The relevant matter is how many years can he play football for USC!

Here is a John Redcorn quote from Oct. 28, 2006

"I'll make it worth it (my postgame rants)....since I will no longer be visiting this site after this weekend. Sorry Scott, I really love your work here, but there is no point in me following SC if we cannot go to Glendale!"

I wish you honored your word but clearly that is asking too much.

Wonderfull...KT and Jones will redshirt. Pinkard is hurt...so we are down to T2, Cary Harris and S. Wright and I guess pull V. Joseph off KR at CB...hmmm..what was everyone saying about how "we are loaded in the secondary"?

I may be the only one here that feels this way, but I think Redcorn's stuff is pretty funny most of the time. He kind of reminds me of my Raider Nation brethren who criticize everything and always talk about how the sky is falling (and in the Raiders case, it is). It is a good change of pace from the rah-rah of the die hards and the idiotic rumblings of the Bruin fans. Besides, I can't say I blame him all that much for last year's criticism of both Kiffin and Booty (although I am coming around on JD) So if you take Redcorn with a grain of salt, you may see the humor as well.
Fight On!

Funny? Is that how you describe Redcorn? Hell, I'm just waiting for him to put his Trojan's game touts up BEFORE the fact for a change.
