Simply Awful

I'll defer to Pete Carroll for a description of a shambolic performance.
``We were so horrid,’’ Carroll said. ``We were hard to watch. We couldn’t do more wrong. We just wanted to get out of our own way.
``It’s a classic game to give away. I feel grateful with all the things that happened. A lot of teams lost. We tried really hard. It was a horrible night. We understand. We survived.’’

Thanks for not covering the spread, AGAIN, SC.

Well, I don't think I should say SC!

I meant to say Booty....YOU SUCK BOOTY!

LET THE MARK SANCHEZ ERA BEGIN!

BOOTY SUCKS....LMFAO!!!

Guess where my money will be later in the year? Yup, you guessed it. On Oregon. On Cal. When SC is on the road with a "deer-in-the-headlights" midget QB named Booty throwing INTs after LOCKING on to our slow-ass WRs! EASY MONEY RIGHT THERE!!!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$

PC couldn't have said it better. Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong...and they still managed to win...on the road, in the rain, against a very well-coached UW Huskie team. If it's broken we'll get it fixed. Just like we have for the last 6 years.

That is what championship teams do. Unlike OU, Florida, WVU, UT, Rutgers, Clemson, Penn State and Alabama (that got their a**es handed to them by mostly non-conference or unranked teams on Insanity Saturday) this Trojan team actually found a way to win.

Scoreboard...that's all that matters...2 beats 1...the rest is noise.

As far as I'm concerned they could win every game the rest of the year by 1 point and not cover "the spread". If it provides the added benefit of getting all the naysayers off this board all the better.

John Redcorn, some SC fan you are, your comment shows that you obviously have no class whatsoever. You're pathetic. Moving along I think JDB and the rest if the offense will get their groove back come this Saturday and for the rest of the season. Perhaps the close game with the huskies serves as a wake up call for the rest of the season.

I think that the team was distracted and looking forward to the huge match up against Stanford this week. This is what those in the biz call a "trap" game. I also have some ocean-front property in Arizona for sale...

We better get our act together or it'll be ugly in Oregon and Cal...not to mention trouble with ASU

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
