Step Backward?

Linebacker Brian Cushing did not progress as much as hoped Wednesday.
"He's not 100 percent, I don't know how it will be,'' USC coach Pete Carroll said. "We'll go right up to game time."

I sure hope they're being smart with Cushing, and let him heal up before throwing him out there too soon.

His playing time will be far more critical for the Cal & OR games than WSU, IMHO.....

I agree with Coffee. They should not need him this SAT anyways.

I question bringing him in for just the goal line stand last week vs. Nebraska too. The chance of him making a difference from the one yard line is very slim vs. that any other LB in the rotation.
