Oregon lower than Washington? O Rly?

OU at #9 is pretty low. You must not have been impressed by The U as an opponent for the Sooners last SAT...

No kidding! Oklahoma has looked much more impressive than all but LSU so far this season. You've got 'em 9th? Lower than a Louisville team that allowed 35 FIRST HALF points to Middle Tennessee? Huh? Scottie, sometimes I wonder if you actually watch the games or spend your time with Petros combing the tabloids for dirt on Matt Leinart.

A few more observations:
Hawaii at 16th? Did you see them against La Tech on Saturday? Their defense looked putrid.
I respect your rankings of both Oregon & Washington, but I think voters have them too low. Both look very good and will give the Trojans fits with their mobile quarterbacks. Mark those dates on the calendars guys. Seattle and Eugene will be nail biters. Let's hope the Trojans gel by then.
Fight On!

Real question: Do you fill out your poll as to how you think teams will end the season or as to which teams are best? Also, is it based on potential or the body of work they have shown on the field?

Although I'm a Trojan Alum, I would probably still have LSU up top. It pisses me off that their opponents have been so impotent. Other highlighted teams would be USC, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Florida, Cal, Rutgers, Clemson, Boston College, Oregon & Washington. These have clearly been the most dominant teams as shown on the field so far this season.

In my mind, Oklahoma is still very low after that blowout of Miami. Incredible running last week, incredible passing this week. I'd have dropped WV and Louisville towards the bottom of the top 10 after those terrible defensive performances.

And ya, what is Hawaii doing at #16 after barely surviving La-Lafayette (!!?) in overtime?
