Ty On Washington
``The first thing is that you have to consider the level of competition that we are playing. We have played some good football teams the past two weeks. Ohio State is a good football team. I think UCLA is a good football team so that’s part of it. We knew that our schedule had only, for the most part, good football teams and it’s surprising for some that Syracuse beat Louisville, but we thought they would be a good football team. We have done some things on our own part that have not helped us, but that’s football.”

Yep I will second, third, and fourth that one, BoscoH
That poor guy got screwed over by the dumbers..handed a crap team from Bob Davie with no talent, expected to win in 2 or 3 years. He didn't do half bad, he had them at like #8 towards the end of 2003, I think. And then thrown under the bus, and blamed for any and all problems the ND football team has.
It's a riot. I read one post on a golden dumbers site, it began like this:
"Ty I hope you are proud of yourself for what you did to ND..."
He's basically a scapegoat/whipping boy for whatever is wrong with ND this day/week/year.
And the only time they did was with the team HE PUT TOGETHER, not fat-ass.
This is going to get ugly I already read an article today about ND's "double standard" and "racism" since Charlie the Hut won't be fired after this year..it's gonna be like that movie "the perfect storm" haha

Ty gets blamed for only having the 30th best recruiting class (for one of his classes.) So shouldn't a coaching genius at least be able to finish in the top 30 with a #30 recruiting class? I think Charlie's supporters need to look in the mirror (or mirrors.)

he also has done nothing to put the Huskies on track for being a strong program.
They fell apart in their last two games; expected more from them against the baby blue pansies

Since 2000, every NC (except one) has been won by a coach with 4 or fewer years at the school. Double-butt's in his third year, and the excuses are running thin. He can no longer be considered an elite coach, much less a "genius".
