Who's On First?
Pete Carroll said he had not decided who will start at tailback this week.
``I don't know. We'll figure it out during the week.''
Carroll said C.J. Gable, who started the first two games but has one carry in the past six quarters, is not getting chances but USC is trying to give all the tailbacks a chance.

Matt Leinhart sucks!!!
Why did I draft him for my fantasy team. He looks like is 50 years old. He needs to stop partying and start playing.

It was a little odd how Gable didn't get much action.
It was good to see Dennis get some touches, even if it was in garbage time.

Take your Leinart complaining to a Cardinals site. He was 37-2 as a Trojan and should only be revered as a God here.

I'm not a big fan of these fantasy foozballers... ruins the game i think.
anyway
chaunc has had many chances
I'm tired of his little 2 yard dances
We need a little more Gable
he's a little more able
I like big back Stafon
He can really get it on
then u throw in a cup of Joe
We don't need much mo'
than that...

Gable got the crucial start at Nebraska and had some great, meaningful carries. But Stafon got more chances and CJ complained about his lack of 2nd half touches in the media. It was no accident he got one carry this week.
Meanwhile, McKnight was the feature back in a whole series of plays.
I was reading an excerpt from the book "Meat Market: SEC Recruiting"
on espn.com and did not know of Ogeron's role in helping USC land Joe over LSU. Cool stuff!

Re: We don't need much mo.
Dude, I want every score left on the field since 1973. I want to see 77-0 and we have the team to do it, hopefully against ND.
I think we should give the backs more opportunities to fit their particular skill sets. Power#1 set up..CW and SH. Power#2 CW and SJ(CW between tackles and SJ out in the Flat). Double wing...CJ and JM in the slots. Single wing..JM or CJ and SH. Power I...CJ...2 TEs, PT and Ausberry. 3rd and 10 TB is SH and 2 TEs (the three T's the 2 Tall team, Ausbery and PT) let em go up and get it, SH in the flat. Man with this team U could play some serious X Box. U No the coaches already know this.

I was against guys last week that said why didnt CJ get more Touches than the 4 vs Nebraska. I am now asking the same question after he only got 1 carry vs WSU. That does seem odd. I think Pete could have put Gable in in place of Washington there in the 2nd half. Chauncey seem to had gotten more than his share in 2nd half.

The bright spot in E. Moody leaving is that we don't have to look at those "I'm in the Moody for some Booty."
Sep800's post reminded me of them.
