A Pitiful Performance

A mannequin on the sideline would offer more resistance than Charlie Weis did. His playcalling was unimaginative and uninspired. Two years ago, he at least kept Pete Carroll off-balance with his creativity. Saturday, he did everything but wave a white flag. The fans are too bored to care.
And I heard after the game from an Irish source that some Notre Dame recruits are now contacting USC.

who are the recruits??

Did anyone see the LSU Auburn game..? The SEC refs gave that victory to LSU. Horrible calls going against Auburn… 1) 7 men NOT on the line of scrimmage and 2) Third and 3 on last drive of game was at least 1/2 yard short and the linesman gave him a ridiculous spot.. to the point of a well deserved game suspension. Horrible.

Re some notre dame recruits contacting the trojans-----I'm Catholic--and I say, THANK GOD!!!!

Pablo I did. You are absolutely correct. Furthermore those two blatant calls stink. I believe Auburn's HC is Tommy Tuberville and he should file an official complaint. Check:

That last sentence makes me happy Scott.

I hope we steal a couple, maybe Omar Hunter and Darius Fleming.

Omar Hunter, Ethan Johnson, Dayne Crist, and Gerrell Robinson.

Dayne Crist is one..he will de-commit soon.

Anyway, it's a riot you should see their message boards..haha..total chaos and panic..some of them want Fatty fired today some of them are still on the "just wait until 2011!!" bandwagon..some are blaming Ty Willingham..they know their recruits are walking and are really PO'd.

They are afraid now they are going to lose to Navy!!

hahahahahah

Welcome back.

By game time the $62 face value tickets were going for $30 bucks. I had to eat two(2) tickets. In the first half the stadium was about 50% red. By mid way in the third qtr the staduim was about 70% red. The ND elite had already vacated their 50 yard seats. By the end of the game the staduim was 90% red.

Was it just me, or did Jimmy Clausen have that "Where am I going to redshirt next year?" look on his face?

I hate ND as much as the next decent human, but I don't blame Charlie for sitting Clausen and mailing it in on Saturday. What's to be gained by geeking up a team that had no chance? Take your lumps, get to the bye week and get ready for what should be a couple of beatable opponents. Recruits? That's another issue.
