Back To Notre Dame

We've previously mentioned Notre Dame recruits wavering and showing interest in USC, but it's debatable if the Trojans would be interested in QB Dayne Christ right now because junior Matt Barkley of Mater Dei appears to heavily favor USC.
A Pac-10 recruiting coordinator told me Barkley is the best junior or senior QB prospect on the West Coast.

Daybe Christ? whoose dat? A descendant of Jesus?

Barkley seems to be the real deal, and it wouldn't make sense to take Christ with Mustain, Sanchez, and Corp all with multiple years of elegibility.

Lets get him.
What's he into? Boys? Girls?

The spell check appears to be out on Snot Wilfs coputer. As it wsa ysterdya.

Scott, i'm not sure if you know or not, but it is Dayne Crist, not Christ.

Sureshot:

I am still laughing at your typos ... Snot Wilfs ... priceless!

Harkens back to the halcyon Marinovich days when the IN TODD WE TRUST signs were ubiquitous at the Coliseum.

No doubt if Dane goes to 'SC Cal Fan will break out the CRUCIFY CRIST signs in Berkley. Godless dirty hippies!

Damn sureshot you veat me too it!

hahah..

Hey, as we are seeing right now, you always need depth..

give the kid a scholarship..get him away from that horror show in south bend..

"Barkley is the best junior or senior QB prospect on the West Coast."

Yea Thcott
This is old news. Dayne Crist is not the ND recruit people want to hear about.

Christ would be the perfect 5th string back-up QB for the Trojans right behind Mustain/Sanchez (or Sanchez/Mustain), Corp, and fellow Notre Dame alum Garrett Green.

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
