For once, I think Scott is being generous. 11th? We don't even have a quality win yet.

I hate to say this about my favorite team:
USC is in big, big trouble. As much as Booty is over-rated, they will probably have to start Sanchez next week against Arizona.
It's obvious that the Pac-10 is no longer afraid of USC. Despite the "talent gap", it really makes no difference.

How can 41 point favorite SC be ranked ahead of an Oregon team that came within inches of taking Cal to OT?

agree with everyone above, we are NOT the 11th best team, not even close. maybe, if your feeling generous, put us in the 20s, but not 11.

I'd switch Oregon with VA Tech...Oregon probably should be the highest-ranked one-loss team.

I think I figured out what's going on here.
1. Mr. Wolf, it is clear you are bending over backwards to avoid the appearance of being a Pac-10/west coast/USC homer... thus the baffling reason why 6-0 Arizona State is unranked (you know, the same team that won 41-3 @ Stanford last week... the same team that steam-rolled Colorado the week before they beat Oklahoma)... thus the reason Ohio State is ahead of Cal... thus the reason why Oregon is ridiculous ranked so low... thus the reason that TWO-loss teams from Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Michigan, and Auburn are ranked so high.
2. It is as clear as day that you actively seek to stir up the pot to try and reactions out of people, you like to be the one who rocks the boat, create controversy to get people to your site, get your name thrown around, etc. I suppose you could argue with this response, your spectacular plan is working but to me it seems that credibility and respect would be more important that receiving attention.
But hey, what do I know... carry on.
