Carroll On Gable
Pete Carroll spoke at his press conference about C.J. Gable's groin injury.
``There's a chance that it's the best decision to operate on him,'' Carroll said. ``He's going to have to get it operated on one way or another and it might be the best situation to do it now and get him back for spring football. Otherwise he'd have to do it at the end of the season and he's not 100 percent.''

Would this make him eligible for a medical redshirt?

Yes, he is eligible for redshirt since he only played in 3 games. That's one reason they held him out of Washington game, to have the medical redshirt option

Gable is a family favorite because he is a graduate of Sylmar High, like my parents. Hope it works out for him.

Anybody wonder what Moody is thinking these days: Gable out,Johnson won't play, Washington not 100%. Looks like Bradford's big chance to shine.
