Club Caesar

Ole Miss coach Ed Orgeron is trying to avoid a silver anniversary milestone. The last time the Rebels (2-6, 0-5) didn't have a conference victory was 1982. Ole Miss has three SEC games remaining: a trip to Auburn next Saturday, a home game against LSU and the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State in Starkville.

I think Coach O is a great coach, I just have always questioned why he left USC to begin with.

I realize being the HC is a big attraction, but Mississippi is not a good place to start. You won't get any recruits sandwiched in between Florida, LSU and (Saban) Alabama...not to mention the killer schedule and super high SEC-fan expectations.

He won't last much longer there, but I am sure he will catch on somewhere. Would love to have him back at USC...and Chow, too

Hey USC1966:

You might as well hope for world peace while you are at it, because Orgeron and Chow aren't coming back.

yeah yeah I know

Hey Scott,

I think you meant club whiney, nasal, passive/aggressive, self-loathing, dome chromer cuz I was constantly punked as an undergrad at SC.

Ooops...nevermind that would be your club (except for the fact that you can't really call something "a club" when you would be the sole member).

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
