Decision Time

While USC picks a quarterback, Oregon needs to pick a uniform for Saturday's game.
That’s usually a Thursday decision,'' Ducks coach Mike Bellotti said. ``Somebody told me last week that there are 384 combinations so I have the pinwheel chart on the wall. I just throw a dart at it.”

you're late Scott...Sanchezhas been announced as the starter

Amazingly, no matter what combination they choose, the end result = U G L Y

I am glad the Ducks are really focusing on the important aspects of Saturday’s Game. Personally, I hope the Ducks wear those all white uniforms...that way you can really see all of the cardinal stains on Dixon’s uniform caused by Maualuga’s helmet.

I think SC's record under Carroll - when an "underdog" is all wins. For some reason the last 2 years the teams tend to play "down" to the competition. Hopefully the team is approaching this with the same intensity they did against Nebraska, you know, working out hand signals, etc., due to the noise, and disruptions. If so, should be a win. Can't wait to watch.

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
