For What It's Worth
BCS guru Jerry Palm currently projects USC playing in the Rose Bowl. That means he thinks the Trojans will win the rest of their games but the loss to Stanford would be too damaging in the computer rankings to get back into the top two.

Only the Rose Bowl? That's it. Pack it up. Cancel the rest of the games, complete waste of time. 11-1 projection: what a bunch of chumps...

Is OSU the first game of next year? Could we get them back to back games in LA? Could be fun.

Having gone to the last four Rose Bowl Games…I would really love to see something different like USC playing a team like…hmm…Michigan. (also...no sarcasm here)

Not necessarily Wolfie. If SC loses to Cal and wins the rest of its games, surely the Rose Bowl would select USC to play Ohio State, would you not agree? That would mean Oregon would have at least 2 losses (CAL & SC), ASU would have at least 2 losses (CAL & SC) and SC would hold the tie breaker over both because SC would have beaten both.
By the way Wolf, I heard your snide remark about the "internet geeks" on the Petros & Money show. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. I looked up geek in the dictionary, and to my surprise, there was no definition listed, merely a recording with your voice droning on about "my spies at heritage hall" and "Mitch and Me"
Wow. I haven't heard a voice like that since the Olsen twinswere on Full House. Don't worry man, it'll all clear up as soon as puberty hits.

I respect Palm's opinions about the BCS, he is seldom wrong. However, Vegas still has the Trojans as only a 4 1/2 to 1 against compared to LSU at about 3 to 1 and Ohio St 3 1/2 to 1 against. So the bettors have not given up on
SC, placing the team right behind the Tigers and Buckeyes.
