I remember looking at this game as a Name Your Margin of Victory game for USC.
After the last 3 weeks I don't know what to think anymore. Ideally I'd like to see ND held to single digits and Trojans win like 31-9 heading to Oregon. And no more injuries!

I'm dragging my wife for her first USC game. It would be great to see a sea of cardinal behind the USC bench and down to the end zone opposite Touchdown Jesus.

Good for all the SC fans going back. I have been there 3-times and it is something to behold-- ivy covered campus walls, trees aflame with autumn gold and red, the ND band crossing campus to the stadium playing that unforgettable Irish fight song, and local fans decked out in navy blue sweats with the Notre Dame insignia. And for those of us with a spiritual bent, there is a feeling of the presence of God connected with this experience.
So, Trojans, enjoy. And show good sportsmanship because these fans are among the best in the country.

Not to get off topic, but where have all the bRuins gone? Thought that they'd be on this board talking smack about how such an awesome team like the Domers who (pathetically) beat their beloved bRuins would be ending their (what is it, seven game?) losing streak against the Trojans this week.
Miguelito, et tu?
Dynastyisover, out of ammo?
No "13-9"? No "our defense returned X players"? No "Cheat On"? Come on guys, we need some good flaming here. We miss that recycled crap you shill.
Oh, that's right -- UCLA is a basketball school.

It is an experience all USC fans should take part in. I went back to South Bend in 1977. To see the Autumn leave colors in the drive from Chicago to South Bend was breath taking.
That was the year ND came out in the Green Jerseys.
Of course the outcome wasn't so good for our Trojans that day.

RE: So, Trojans, enjoy. And show good sportsmanship because these fans are among the best in the country.
Obvisously, someone has not been to a USC ND game lately. 2005 game was absolutely egregious (1)ND fans wore tee shirts that had the statment "ND will be an intelligent nasty football team" Charlie Wies (2) They interefered with the team walk thru day before the game (3) Then there was letting the grass groww as high as wheat. (4) The only thing that stop the harassement all during the game was final TD (5)One of the rowdy fans next us was about80 years old and told one of the younger kids to shut up and sit down because he was rooting for USC. He was servious. I thought the young kid was going to throw down on him(6)Tickets four and five times face value (7)$100 parking fees
The only reason I keep going to this game is because I want USC to break the scoreboard on these hicks. Plus it is a lot closer to me then LA.

I am sorry to hear about the fan's bad experience in 2005. Could just have been bad luck to be sitting where you where. Plus remember that a visitor is a guest and protocol (not to mention good sense) dictates a different mode of behavior i.e. I don't wear my school colors; I don't yell loudly; I applaud the other team when it is introduced; I try to develop somewhat of a good-natured rapport with the fans around me. This compromised behavior is probably more important for me than most SC fans, because I pay to sit in the better seats with the home fans (they place the Trojans way in the endzone).
But of course even with all these precautions one cannot totally avoid ugly incidents (Oregon is the worst I have experienced, followed closely by Pauley Pavilion). And remember that you are not at the movie theatre, so you are going to encounter a rougher brand of behavior.
Good luck!

Why are you calling out the Bruins who beat Stanford on the road by 4 touchdowns and you lost to them at home? And, Stanford's QB started his first game!
24-23
13-9
Lastly, as of right now, you are in third place behind the Bruins!!

The most classless fans ever are the Trojan fans!

Hey Bill:
Were those the same alleged "classless fans" who applauded the Stanford players as they walked off the field for their surprising win? You paint with too broad of a brush.
Also, most classless fans EVER? Really? Worse than the people who lobbed urine filled containers and booed our Nat'l Anthem during U.S.-Mexico soccer matches? Get some perspective.

Amen, JJH4USC. My brother and I were at the Rose Bowl last year, and witnessed the worst behavior I have ever seen. I'm no prude, but two items were over the top: at 10 a.m., a ucla student so drunk he couldn't stand started screaming and cursing at us as we walked by. After the game, a drunken ucla student screaming sexual epiehets at a crying usc co-ed. My brother and I tried to intercede and luckily others came around to break things up. Oh yes, the year before on the lawn in front of Doheny on our campus, a large group of fuclans set up tents and played their fight song loudly until they were quite politely asked to refrain.
