USC forward Davon Jefferson hyperextended his right knee when he landed awkwardly after a dunk in a pickup game and will be sidelined at least a week.
``They said it's nothing bad,'' Jefferson said. ``I got an MRI and I'm not supposed to do anything for a week.''
Rats. This is our second first-stringer to go down in a week. The basketball team is not loaded with depth (like the football team), and cannot afford injuries.
